San Francisco 49ers Star RB Announces He Will Not Return Next Season After Emotional Farewell Post on Instagram

Robinson is set to enter the upcoming free-agency market, and all indications suggest he will not return to San Francisco for the 2026 season. Across 17 games — none of them starts — Robinson posted 400 rushing yards on 92 carries with two touchdowns. He also recorded eight receptions for 25 yards while adding value as a return specialist, logging 13 kick returns for 378 yards. Those numbers represent solid production for a backup running back, though well below his earlier career output.
