Eagles Re-Sign Dallas Goedert to Remain Key Piece of Championship Core

Philadelphia, PA. The Philadelphia Eagles have taken another important step toward maintaining continuity on offense, securing one of quarterback Jalen Hurts’ most trusted targets for the foreseeable future.
The organization entered the offseason facing uncertainty at the tight end position, but recent developments suggest the front office was determined to keep one of its longest-tenured playmakers in Philadelphia.
According to team sources, the Eagles have agreed to a three-year contract extension worth $30 million, averaging $10 million per season, ensuring that Dallas Goedert remains a key part of the offense moving forward.
The deal follows a standout 2025 season in which Goedert delivered the most productive scoring year of his career. The veteran tight end recorded 60 receptions for 591 yards and 11 touchdowns, establishing a new personal best in touchdowns.
Even more impressive was his dominance near the goal line. Ten of those touchdowns came inside the red zone, setting a new Philadelphia Eagles franchise record for red-zone touchdowns by a tight end in a single season.
Goedert also played a crucial role during the postseason. He caught a key touchdown in the Eagles’ playoff victory over the Green Bay Packers, once again proving to be one of the most dependable targets in high-pressure situations.
Since entering the league in 2018, Goedert has developed into one of the most productive tight ends in franchise history. Over 108 career games, he has recorded 409 receptions for 4,676 yards and 35 touchdowns while helping the Eagles capture Super Bowl LIX in February 2025.
His postseason contributions have been equally historic. Goedert currently holds the Eagles franchise record for playoff receptions with 52, highlighting his ability to deliver when the stakes are highest.
By securing Goedert with a new extension, the Eagles maintain a vital piece of their offensive core as they continue building around a roster designed to compete for championships in the years ahead.
