BLOCKBUSTER: Los Angeles Rams Successfully Sign NFL Special Teams Star at an Unbelievable Price!
Los Angeles, California – Los Angeles Rams have signed former linebacker Grant Stuard to a two-year contract worth up to $5.05 million, a former special teams star with the Detroit Lions. Stuard, who has made a name for himself playing for Tampa Bay Buccaneers and Indianapolis Colts, has built an impressive career with his outstanding special teams play.

Stuard stands out with his special teams ability and strong work ethic. He is ranked as one of the top special teams players in the NFL, ranked 18th by PFF in 2025. This move is a key part of Sean McVay's plan to improve the team’s defense.
“He’s a true warrior, and this addition will bring the strength we need to improve our defense. I have great confidence in his abilities, and I’m sure he’ll be a key factor in our journey to conquer the upcoming season.” – Sean McVay shared after signing Stuard.
McVay has made several changes to enhance the team’s special teams, including firing Chase Blackburn – the former special teams coach – and bringing in new figures like Joe Cardona (long snapper) and Bubba Ventrone (special teams coordinator).
Stuard has also had some impressive performances in his career, including 19 tackles in a single game. He will join the Rams' linebacker corps, where the team is in need of strength and experience to bolster the lineup.
Stuard's addition to the Rams is part of McVay's efforts to improve the team’s special teams, an area that has cost the Rams points in the past two seasons. The team hopes that Stuard will help improve special teams in the 2026 season and be a key to advancing further in the playoffs.
With a cost-effective contract and Stuard’s talent, the Rams are hopeful he will be an important factor in the team’s success next season.
